The security and privacy of customer information is one of our highest concerns. We realize you need to be confident that your credit card and other personal information will be secure when you shop at The Apiary. In our efforts to ensure this level of security, we use industry-standard encryption technologies – including, but not limited to, a Premium Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) – to safeguard your credit card number and other consumer data as it is exchanged with our website.

Our physical facilities have additional security measures in place to protect against the loss or misuse of information you share with us. We also use industry-standard security for our Internet service account data.

The information we collect

The Apiary operates the website www.theapiary.co.nz. As part of our operations we may gather certain types of information about the users of our sites:

    • Personally Identifiable Information. This is provided by you when you register for services that we may offer. Examples of these services could include email newsletters or events. Providing this information will always be optional for you. However, some services may not be available to you if you choose not to provide it.
    • Aggregated Data. This information is generated by our systems as they track traffic through our sites. This information does not identify you personally and is not linked to the personally identifiable information that you may have provided.

Who we share this information with

What about cookies?

What about our advertisers and business partners?

This Privacy Policy only relates to our sites. You should be aware that we are not responsible for the practices of any of existing or future advertisers or business partners. Our site may contain links to other sites. You should check their privacy policies before providing personally identifiable information to them or any other third party.

Opting in and opting out

You will always have the option to opt in to certain services and to opt out of those services at any stage. This means you may change your mind at any time about participating in any of our member services.

Your right to access your information
